Sofie

Sofie is a feminine name of Greek origin rooted in the word sophía, meaning "wisdom" or “wise.” For the Ancient Greeks, sophía resembled cleverness and skill, forming the very foundation and make-up of philosophy. In its original form, philosophía means "a love of wisdom" and was wholeheartedly embraced by many from the time of Plato, including Socrates and Aristotle.
