Yuffie is an energetic girl's name of somewhat Greek heritage. Coming from the name Eupheme in Greek mythology, this variant means “well-spoken” and “to use words of good omen.” As a goddess, Eupheme is the personification of praise and acclamation, crowning baby a name replete with confidence and pride. This version was created for the sprightly thief in Final Fantasy VII, adding just another layer of fun to the title.
