Narcis

A Romanian form of Narcissus, Narcis is a boy’s name. It’s of old Greek origin and is also commonly used as a Catalan name. According to Greek myth, Narcissus was a handsome youth who fell in love with his reflection in a pool of water and could not tear himself away. Eventually, he died of grief and was transformed into a flower that bears his name—the narcissus flower, more commonly known as the Daffodil.
