Gershon

Gershon is a name for boys. While it may be translated to “exile,” its similarity with another Hebrew name Gershom implies a second meaning, that of “a sojourner there.”  Gershon is a name borne by several characters in the Hebrew Bible, including the firstborn son of Moses and Zipporah, and the firstborn son of Levi. The latter became the founder of the Gershonites, one of the four main divisions in their tribe. One of their main duties was to look after the outer tabernacle, tents, covering, screens, doors, and hangings. So, Gershon is not only an option by which you can share your heritage, but it brilliantly shows your little one just how much you trust them with your heart.
