The Capricorn sign is a unique one. It’s, in a way, from the same ilk of the Sagittarius sign and comes from—like each of the signs do—ancient constellations. However, this creature in mythology isn’t quite as common as the centaur; it’s a sea-goat! This constellation is based on the story of Pan—the god who was transformed from a goat man to half-fish. In order to escape the massive Typhon, the son of Gaia and Tartarus, Pan jumped into the Nile River.
